Job Description
Alpha Fabrication (UK) Ltd have an exciting opportunity for a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as a TIG welder at our workshop based in Bonnyrigg, Midlothian. We specialise in manufacturing, distributing and installing kitchen canopies, AHU and HRU ventilation systems, and are looking to expand our highly trained team.
Responsibilities:
Fabricate and assemble 0.9mm - 3mm stainless steel and mild steel using various welding techniques. Conduct quality inspections to ensure finished products meet specifications and are of a high standard. Follow workshop safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work area. Utilize mechanical knowledge and basic math skills for precise measurements and calculations.
Skills/Requirements:
Experience in TIG welding is preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good time management and communication skills. Problem solver. Mechanical knowledge and basic math skills for precise measurements.
Pay:
Competitive wages, paid weekly
