Role Summary

As the Threat Intelligence Analyst you will work to advance the AVEVA Protective Security team\xe2\x80\x99s threat intelligence service offering including data and intelligence; gathering, analysis and dissemination to relevant stakeholders. You will take a lead role in managing relationships with threat intelligence service providers, gathering, analysing and disseminating intelligence from both subscription and open-source intelligence feeds and understanding the intelligence needs of internal stakeholders at all levels of the organisation. You will also take a key role in providing intelligence for our incident management and crisis management teams as required. Your organisational and stakeholder management skills will be required to navigate complex and cross-functional activities whilst delivering at pace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop our threat horizon scanning capability, establishing and supervising emerging and evolving threats that could negatively impact or present opportunities to AVEVA, including (but not limited to): political and economic instability, social unrest, crime, natural hazards, armed conflict, supply chain disruption, societal risks, and human health issues
  • Develop and refine intelligence collection plan, identifying triggers, indicators, warnings and scenarios to assess changing threat status. Receive and analyse information streams from open source and industry networks and disseminate to relevant parties, utilising full scope of resources available
  • Make credible connections between emerging threats and why they matter to AVEVA, enabling informed, data-driven decision making by senior leaders
  • Prepare and supervise the delivery of high-quality, credible, timely and actionable intelligence products, providing advice on strategic outcomes
  • Closely collaborate with other threat intelligence providers and stakeholders across the business to build an intelligence community, driving forward information sharing and standard methodology to give the best partner experience
  • Develop and disseminate periodic reports and plans, KRI\xe2\x80\x99s and metrics to articulate service performance and current/emerging risk exposure relating to known and emerging hazards affecting AVEVA.
Essential Capabilities
  • Ability to understand and produce high quality reporting and analysis
  • Excellent and demonstrable written and verbal communications skills
  • Research, intelligence gathering and analytical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, and a high degree of diplomacy
  • Be able to effectively prioritise, manage competing deadlines, and respond to changing priorities
Essential Experience
  • Experience of intelligence practices within private sector, government agencies or law enforcement
  • Thorough understanding of the threat landscape, including but not limited to...
  • Experience applying risk management principles
  • A network of relevant industry connections and threat intelligence sharing relationships
Desirable Experience
  • Relevant professional experience in a private sector, preferably with regional or global remit
  • Experience working with cybersecurity teams
  • Incident and/or crisis management planning and response experience
  • Project management expertise
