TSA Sprayer - Pembroke WalesConnect Appointments have a fantastic opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced Thermal Spray Aluminum (TSA) Sprayer to join our team in Pembroke, Wales.What's on offer?

• Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm - with an early Friday finish
• xc2xa317.62 per hour - paid weekly
• Overtime available at an enhanced rate

Working as a TSA Sprayer you will be responsible for applying high-performance aluminum coatings to metal surfaces using thermal spray techniques such as arc spray and flame spray. The role involves preparing surfaces, setting up and operating spray equipment, and ensuring coating quality meets industry standards.Your duties and responsibilities will include:

• Perform Thermal Spray Aluminum (TSA) coating using arc spray and flame spray equipment
• Set up and calibrate spray equipment, including power sources, wire feeders, and spray guns
• Select appropriate coating materials based on project specifications
• Ensure consistent and uniform coating application to achieve specified thickness, adhesion, and coverage
• Monitor and adjust parameters (e.g., voltage, amperage, distance) to maintain optimal performance and quality
• Conduct in-process inspections to ensure coating integrity and identify potential defects
• Maintain detailed records of parameters, material usage, and measurements
• Prepare metal surfaces for coating (grit blasting, solvent cleaning etc)
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of thermal spray equipment

To be successful in this role, you will have a few year's experience in thermal spray coating or related field. Combined with the following skills and traits:

• Proficient in arc spray and flame spray coating techniques
• Familiarity with industry standards and specifications (e.g., NACE, SSPC, ISO)
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
