Therapy assistant
to join our dynamic therapy and wellbeing team.

About the Role
As a
Therapy Assistant
at The Cavendish School, you will play a vital role in supporting the communication and wellbeing of autistic pupils with complex needs by:
? Assisting in the delivery of both direct and indirect therapy sessions under the guidance of qualified therapists
? Supporting pupils within our purpose-built, enriching therapeutic environment -- including sensory regulation spaces and therapy rooms
? Working closely with class teams to help implement and model communication and regulation strategies across the school day
? Helping to prepare therapy materials, resources, and observations that contribute to pupil profiles and planning
? Supporting the development of staff through modelling and assisting in training sessions
? Playing an active part in our multidisciplinary team, working together to promote inclusive, communication-friendly and trauma informed practice across the school

? A reflective & adaptable approach, with a commitment to inclusive, pupil-centred support
? Enthusiasm for contributing to a therapeutic, trauma-informed ethos across the school
? A willingness to learn and grow professionally as part of a multidisciplinary team
