Compass Associates are excited to be working with a large independent hospital provider. They have services UK wide, within this hospital they cover Paediatric services, Orthopaedic services, Critical care, cosmetic surgery, generalsurgery, medical care, including oncology, diagnostic and outpatient services.

The Role

To strategically plan the delivery of patient safe clinical care provision of the Theatre service, in line with business needs and responsible for day to day organisation and management of care provision within the Operating Department while coordinating the management of the theatre team, both clinical and non-clinical. Providing clear direction and leadership to all theatre staff, whilst supporting the initiatives of the hospital. The role is responsible for development, motivation and performance of the Theatre Team, ensuring the achievement of CQC Standards.

Requirements

• Evidence of relevant professional development, both clinically, managerially, preferably evidenced by certification RN with valid NMC Registration.
• Significant experience working in an acute hospital setting as a senior registered Practitioner or equilivent
• Previous experience within a theatre or deputy theatre managerial role
• Experience of customer care, including interacting with customers in challenging situations
• Robust understanding of Clinical Governance requirements for the area.
• Previous experience within scrub
• Ability to lead a nursing team, showing previous experience in leading a clinical team.
• Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent organisation and multitasking skills required.
• Ability to motivate a team of clinical professionals.
• Experience of customer care, including interacting with challenging customers and situations.
• Awareness of NMC Code of Accountability

Summary
My client is seeking a Theatre Manager. In exchange my clients are offering a salary of up to \xc2\xa355,000 plus excellent company benefits which would be discussed at interview stage.

The role is based in Swindon.
