About the role:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Nurse / ODP qualified Theatre Manager to join a highly reputable private hospital based on the outskirts of Crawley. The hospital has state of the art facilities, and this is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Theatre Manager ( RGN / ODP ) to join their friendly theatre team. The team are passionate about person centred care and put their patients at the heart of everything they do and looking for a like-minded Theatre Manager to lead the team. The service offers a range of services and procedures including Orthopaedics, General Surgery, Urology, Bariatrics, Paediatrics and offers nurses to develop a variety of skills.
Duties and responsibilities
You will be working as a Theatre Manager within the theatre team and will be responsible for the following duties;
Safe running and management of theatres- 2 laminar flow theatres and 1 endoscopy suite
Working across a range of specialities including orthopaedics, general surgery, bariatrics and weight loss, cosmetics, urology, paediatrics and more
Manage the team and step in to clinical role if needs be- must be qualified nurse or ODP
Monitor and assist in the delivery of patient care
Provide appropriate clinical and leadership throughout the department
Act as a role model and mentor clinical staff
Encourage, develop and enhance the skills of yourself and others
Ensure that Clinical Governance and Risk management are embedded within daily practice and promote excellence
Who we\'re looking for
Be NMC / HCPC registered- your pin must not have any restrictions or conditions
Eligibility to live and work in the UK
A minimum of 6 years UK experience working in theatres is essential
Experience in a managerial role in theatres is essential
Experience with quality improvement projects is desirable
