As Test Engineer, you will have overall responsibility for ensuring the quality of our voice and communications software platform. You will lead our QA function, driving best practices and introducing automation to enhance efficiency.

You will be responsible for the following:
Defining and executing test strategies, plans, test cases for UCaaS products with a focus on VoIP, SIP, RTP, WebRTC and related protocols.
Collaborating with the Head of Product and the development team to understand requirements and define the scope of testing.
Building and maintaining an automation testing suite and integrating into CI/CD pipelines to support rapid releases.
Ensuring high availability, low latency voice and load testing.
Validating third-party integrations to ensure they are fully functional.
Driving defect triage and root-cause analysis in collaboration with Development and Support.
Proven experience as a VoIP Engineer or in a similar telecoms role.
Strong knowledge of SIP protocols, hosted PBX, and cloud-based VoIP solutions.
Experience with VoIP platforms such as Asterisk, FreePBX, 3CX, or BroadSoft.
Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, firewalls, QoS, VLANs).
Familiarity with troubleshooting tools (Wireshark, packet capture analysis).
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Experience of QA in a cloud-based SaaS business, with specific experience as a lead engineer.
Hands-on experience testing VoIP-based systems, including SIP, RTP and Codecs (G.711, G.729, Opus)
Solid knowledge of UCaaS, IVRs, voicemails, conferencing, messaging.
Experience implementing and operating automation tools, frameworks, and strategies for improving efficiency.
Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Comfortable navigating complex challenges, identifying risks, and delivering solutions in a fast-paced environment.
