TELL ME MORE ABOUT THE ROLE. Responsible for all aftersales matters within the assigned territory, the Territory Service Manager is the primary point of contact for dealers and will develop robust working relationships with dealer personnel in order to promote the highest standards of customer service and aftersales performance.

WHAT QUALITIES DO I NEED?

  • You\'ll have a strong agricultural engineering background, either from a dealer service department or a manufacturer technical support role, ideally with a recognised technical qualification, experienced in diagnostics and complex electrohydraulic systems
  • Your career to date could include experience as a dealer service manager or a regional technical support manager, and from this you\'ll bring a very well-developed portfolio of customer service and customer management skills to the role
  • You\'ll have a good all-round standard of IT literacy including Excel, Word and PowerPoint, and have experience with manufacturer service and warranty systems
  • We\'ll need to know that you have good organisational abilities, possess a resourceful problem-solving attitude and the ability to manage and close down customer dispute situations to successful outcomes
  • You have a clear understanding of what is meant by dealer standards, and how to implement and sustain them in order to ensure the highest professional standards of customer service are delivered via the dealer network
  • The ability to form healthy working relationships with colleagues and dealer staff is critical to the success of the role and you\'ll demonstrate a strong portfolio of interpersonal and communication skills
  • With a clean driving licence, you\'ll reside in (or be prepared to relocate to) Northern England or Scotland, and be comfortable with regular travel and nights away from home within the UK and occasional overseas travel
