Territory Sales Manager - Job Specification
Job Role: Territory Sales Manager - South

Reporting to: Sales Director

Working Hours: 8.00 am - 5.00 pm Monday to Friday. Additional hours may be required depending on seasonal business requirements.

Location: Territory-based role supporting the UK dealer network & customers. Regular travel around the UK will be required.

We are looking for a self-motivated individual to provide sales support to our dealer network and farming customers. The role will be doing sales across our complete range of products, demonstrating machinery and working closely with the parts and service team. The successful applicant will have a strong knowledge of agricultural practices and good technical knowledge of agricultural machinery.

Responsibilities:

  • Maximise promotion of all products
  • Plan, grow and nurture dealers and end users
  • Generate, propose and drive sales targets and plans.
  • Hands-on technical work as required.
  • Information gathering and feedback to the Sales Manager
  • Assisting with dealer training
  • Visiting and supporting dealers on a regular basis
  • Keeping up-to-date sales information
Special competencies:
  • Good understanding of market trends and requirements
  • A good knowledge of modern software infrastructure / CRM and MS Office
  • High energy level
  • Passion for travelling (Mainly within your territory, but travel within the UK or Europe will be required)
  • Capability to communicate on all levels
  • Experience with promoting brand USP\'s
Key Skills:
  • Extensive Agricultural knowledge
  • A strong technical understanding of agricultural machinery and agricultural practices.
  • Conversant and competent with the full Microsoft Suite.
  • Good communication skills including presentation abilities
  • A professional and helpful attitude
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong organisational skills with a willingness to travel to provide product support during busy seasonal periods
