Would you like to help support the hospice by joining our volunteer 'front of house' team, welcoming guests and supporting in the smooth running of The Terrace Cafe alongside our employed staff?

We are looking for support on any day of the week from 11am - 4pm

The Cafe is the heart of the hospice, whether it's for our families and their loved ones, our visitors and social groups, other volunteers or hospice staff. Our visitors may choose to take a seat inside the cafe for a cuppa and a slice of cake or on the terrace on a beautiful sunny day, the Terrace Cafe is a warm and friendly focal point for many at the hospice. Your role will be to make sure all of our visitors receive a warm welcome from the moment they step through the doors, showing visitors where they can sit, taking orders, keeping the cafe clean during service and ensuring our visitor's experience in the cafe is a positive one.

The Terrace Cafe is the happy hub of the hospice, while serving up fantastic service for patients, families, volunteers, staff, donors, and anyone else who needs a friendly meet-up spot!
