Job Overview

Please note these posts are for 2 temporary cleaners. One for a 5 day contract and one for a 10 day contract on a self employed basis. The first from 25th April to 12th May and the second for 1st May to 8th May The ideal candidates will have experience in commercial cleaning and a strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in various environments. This role is essential for ensuring that facilities are kept in pristine condition, contributing to a safe and welcoming atmosphere for all.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces. Use appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure high standards of cleanliness. Dust, mop, sweep, and vacuum floors as required. Empty bins and dispose of waste in accordance with health and safety regulations. Clean windows, walls, and other surfaces to maintain a tidy appearance. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly. Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure consistency in service delivery. Adhere to health and safety guidelines while performing cleaning duties.

Requirements

Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may involve lifting or moving items. Understanding of basic health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices.
