We are seeking friendly and dependable

Catering Assistants

to support local schools in and around the Shepton Mallet area on a temporary basis.

Rate of Pay:

12.21 per hour (paid weekly)

Hours:

Monday to Friday, either 9:00am-1:00pm or 10:00am-2:00pm

Flexibility:

Choose the shifts you wish to work to fit around your commitments

The Role:

You will be part of the kitchen team, helping with the preparation and service of meals to pupils and staff. This role suits individuals who enjoy a hands-on position and working as part of a supportive team.

Responsibilities Include:

Assisting with preparing and serving food during busy lunch periods Keeping food preparation areas clean and organised Washing up and helping to maintain kitchen hygiene standards Clearing dining areas and helping with basic kitchen tasks Adhering to food safety and health & safety guidelines at all times

What We're Looking For:

Previous catering or kitchen experience is an advantage but not essential A helpful, positive attitude and a willingness to learn Good reliability and punctuality are essential You must hold (or be willing to obtain) an

Enhanced DBS certificate
