The Role:



As a Telesales Appointment Maker, you'll be the voice of Greydoor Publishing, reaching out to potential advertisers to book appointments with our sales team. Your goal? To spark interest, build relationships, and open doors for discussions about featuring in our sought-after luxury magazines. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your persuasive communication skills and play a key role in driving our business growth.

Key Responsibilities:



Make outbound calls to prospective advertisers, including businesses in hospitality, real estate, luxury goods, and more. Engage potential clients with a compelling pitch, highlighting the unique benefits of advertising in our luxury magazines. Schedule appointments for our sales team to meet with interested parties and discuss advertising opportunities. Maintain accurate records of calls, outcomes, and follow-ups using our CRM system. Collaborate with the sales team to ensure a seamless handoff and continuous improvement of our outreach strategy. Stay informed about our magazines, target markets, and industry trends to effectively communicate our value proposition.

What We're Looking For:



Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills--you're confident, friendly, and persuasive on the phone. Previous experience in telesales, appointment setting, or a customer-facing role is a plus, but we're also happy to train the right candidate if you have the right attitude and desire to succeed. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage call schedules and follow-ups efficiently. A positive attitude and resilience--rejection is just part of the journey, and you're ready to bounce back with a smile. Familiarity with CRM software and basic computer skills.

Hours:



This role involves evening shifts, with hours of 2-10pm or 3-11pm depending on your assignment. If you are unable to work these hours, this position will unfortunately not be appropriate for you.

Pay:



Salary is largely commission based but the expected take home could be anywhere between 35K and 55k depending on sales ability.

Training basic is 600 per week for first month then 450 per week once the sales pipeline has been built.
