Telecommunications Home Installation Engineers We are recruiting for Fibre Home Installation Engineers; the job role will involve being trained to install/terminate/test fibre cable to customers\xe2\x80\x99 homes/premises The work will involve travelling to customer houses / premises and liaising with the customer to install FTTP / Fibre line, so excellent customer service is required. Candidate profile \xc2\xb7 MUST have good customer installation skills using drills or power tools \xc2\xb7 MUST be able to attend a 3 week training course \xc2\xb7 MUST be able to drive with a valid driving licence for manual vehicles \xc2\xb7 MUST be over 21 years of age (for company vehicle insurance) \xc2\xb7 MUST be able to work at heights after training, as the job will involve climbing BT/Openreach Poles \xc2\xb7 MUST be willing to attend training in Risby or Crawley The job will involve \xc2\xb7 Driving to customers houses and premises to install FTTP / Fibre lines \xc2\xb7 Liaising with customers to ensure installations can take place \xc2\xb7 Adhering to Health and Safety legislation \xc2\xb7 Working at height - climbing ladders safely \xc2\xb7 Working in underground telecommunications chambers and in street cabinets \xc2\xb7 Installing fibre cable to customer premises \xc2\xb7 Installing a network connection point in customer premises \xc2\xb7 Explaining the new connection to customers and ensuring they are fully satisfied What we will provide \xc2\xb7 Full training for FTTP / Fibre installs \xc2\xb7 Vehicle \xc2\xb7 Tooling \xc2\xb7 Equipment \xc2\xb7 PPE \xc2\xb7 Hotel when on training Contract Duration & Rates This is a long term contract role and you will be paid for the jobs you complete, see below estimations of jobs and earnings (We would expect people to be achieving a minimum of 3 jobs per day, once trained and competent) FTTP / Fibre Job rates are \xc2\xa355 per job this is a rate inclusive of a fuel allowance (\xc2\xa345 per job + \xc2\xa310 per job fuel) \xc2\xb7 2 jobs per day = \xc2\xa321k per annum \xc2\xb7 3 jobs per day = \xc2\xa331.5k per annum \xc2\xb7 4 jobs per day = \xc2\xa342k per annum Some Engineers are able to do more jobs in the day but conservatively above are the averages Full FTTP / Fibre training will be provided (Training to be undertaken at Risby \xe2\x80\x93 near Bury St Edmunds or Crawley) \xc2\xb7 When on training you will be paid \xc2\xa380 per day (+ mileage) \xc2\xb7 When buddying you will be paid \xc2\xa390 per day (+ mileage) This is a 3 weeks course, so you must be available for 3 continuous weeks. #fibre #fttp #openreach #installation Job Type: Full-time Salary: \xc2\xa3165.00-\xc2\xa3275.00 per day Benefits:
