Job Title: Support Worker, Willoughby House
Accountable to: Centre Manager, Willoughby House
Hours: 43 per week, on a shift system
Annual Leave: 28 days per annum
Teen Challenge UK is a Christian charity seeking to tackle the problem of addiction in the UK. We believe that transformation is possible for every individual and seek to share this hope with them. Willoughby House is a supported housing service for up to 40 men who have a history of problematic substance misuse.
Job Summary: Accountable to the Centre Manager, and as part of the Support Work team you will undertake duties necessary to ensure the smooth and effective running of the supported housing programme on a day to day basis. This will include support and supervision of residents in order to assist and encourage them, to provide personal support to ensure resident’s needs are met and providing transport to appointments.
The successful applicants will have an active Christian faith and be part of a local church. They will provide a role model of personal effectiveness, discipleship and encouragement to the residents as they undertake a life-changing programme.
