About the role:
Horsham District Council are seeking an enthusiastic, multi-skilled theatre Technician to represent our friendly professional technical team at The Capitol Horsham, a unique multi-arts venue situated in the heart of the town. The Capitol Horsham is owned and managed by Horsham District Council and we are dedicated to presenting the best available theatre and entertainment to audiences in central Horsham and beyond.
Working closely with the Technical Supervisor, as Technician, you will assist and support our diverse range of incoming shows in the main house and studio space, run cinema screenings and assist with day-to-day running of the department and its assets. Each role involves the use of lighting, sound, AV and flying systems.
About you:
To succeed as Technician, you will be a motivated individual with a keen interest in the live entertainment industry. A technical qualification is desirable but not essential. You will have experience of working with live sound, AV and theatrical lighting including console operation.
