The Jacobs Douwe Egberts Site in Banbury was originally built in 1965 and is the home manufacturer of Kenco Coffee. It now processes and packs much of the JDE coffee brands for UK stores (Kenco, Tassimo, L\'OR). The site consists of 4 Coffee Roasters, \xe2\x80\x8b1 Freeze Drier, 2 Spray Driers,\xe2\x80\x8b 1 Agglomerator\xe2\x80\x8b and 7 Packing Lines\xe2\x80\x8b

It\'s our Technicians\' role to ensure this equipment is maintained and repaired to ensure an effective running of the plant.



Safety Health and Environment:

• Delivers a Safety Health and Environment culture and role model behaviours by following safety procedures, using Personal Protective Equipment - PPE and works calm and orderly
• Delivers a Safe and Healthy work environment by knowing the work-related hazards and safety instructions
• Leads incident investigations and confronts unsafe conditions and behaviours immediately. Solves safety issues directly or through escalation

Quality:

• Delivers a Quality culture and role model behaviours. Adhere to Quality and legislation requirements and complies to legal and corporate standards & policies
• Reports issues and adherence to quality systems and processes
• Escalates and implement solutions to impact Quality losses

Delivery & Cost:

• Autonomous maintenance

• Advises, transfers knowledge and technical expertise in the teams to guarantee equipment in basic condition

• Corrective maintenance

• Develops knowledge of machines by being available on production lines; shares observations with Operators

• Preventive maintenance

• Execute preventative maintenance plan on time and participate in preventive maintenance activities and the refurbishment of parts according to equipment availability

Qualifications

Education

• Technical certification or higher

Experience

• Required

• 2 to 5 years in a processing industry o Mechanical/ electrical/pneumatics/electronics experience
• Desired

• Knowledge of automation
• Pack office/SAP/PRS/ Machine interface software
• Technical English

Additional Information

This position is working on a continental shift pattern 7am - 7pm (2 days, 2 nights, 4 off).
