Our client, a leading organisation in the Defence industry, is seeking experienced professionals to join their team as Technical Support UNIX Systems Administrators.

Your profile:

\xe2\x80\x93 Solid knowledge and experience of Linux infrastructure and networking, allowing you to manage and maintain robust systems.
\xe2\x80\x93 Proficiency in Bash and other scripting languages, enabling you to automate tasks and improve efficiency.
\xe2\x80\x93 Strong knowledge of UNIX systems to effectively troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring system reliability.

\xe2\x80\x93 active SC clearance

Responsibilities of the role:

\xe2\x80\x93 Assess and direct the technical direction of the infrastructure on which the systems are run. Deliver system change and enhancements
\xe2\x80\x93 Provide input into any new project that requires UNIX expertise
\xe2\x80\x93 Provide 2nd line infrastructure support that has been escalated from the 1st line service desk.
