As a Technical Sales Lead, you\'re a proactive business developer and relationship-builder, uncovering opportunities for custom software development and services with potential clients and existing ones alike.
While this is a commercial role responsible for driving business development plans and new client acquisition, at Waracle, we pride ourselves on doing the right thing for our clients. This role is available on a hybrid basis from our central London office.
Requirements
As a Technical Sales Lead at Waracle, here\'s what we expect you to bring:
Demonstrable enterprise new business development experience, with a strong focus on targeting clients within financial services.
Experience in senior revenue-generating roles with a track record of new client acquisition, that results in \xc2\xa31-3m of custom software development work or IT consulting.
Ability to lead the end to end sales cycle from lead generation and prospecting, to contract negotiations and onboarding.
Experience taking a client\'s needs and challenges and partnering with them to formulate roadmaps and plans that support business strategies and goals.
An understanding of the technology challenges - and the related people challenges - faced by organisations and can confidently help our clients to navigate these waters.
Ability to partner with clients to formulate and deliver exceptional business value through outstanding custom-built products, services and enterprise solutions.
The ability to proactively build trusted advisor relationships with CTO/COO and other senior leaders, creating the opportunity to help define and deliver their tech strategies.
You have experience navigating the people and political challenges of developing software in an enterprise environment and know the lifecycle of such engagements.
Ability to develop and execute account growth plans that align with our core services and capabilities in collaboration with Waracle\'s technical and delivery leaders.
You\'re abreast of current and emerging technologies, practices, languages and products.
The recruitment process you can expect for this role is an initial call with your dedicated Talent Acquisition Partner who will chat with you about Waracle, what you are looking for in a new position, the salary for the role, notice period and benefits (the important stuff!).
After that, will follow an introductory interview with the Hiring Manager. The final interview will be with senior members of the Client Partnerships team, where you have an opportunity to showcase your technical craft, find out more about the role and show off your skills and experience.
