The role

------------

The Technical Program Manager - Data is responsible for leading the delivery of critical data initiatives that improve governance, compliance, data quality, and operational practices across the organisation. This role combines data domain expertise with strong program management and technical delivery skills to align stakeholders, drive execution, and embed long-term improvements in how data is managed and used.

This role requires a strong understanding of technical systems, including how product and platform architectures influence data capture, integration, and quality. The TPM will be expected to engage in design-level discussions, influence integration patterns, and identify opportunities to improve data at the source and across our ELT pipelines and broader data platform.

Initially focused on delivering our data operations transformation--including driving clear data ownership, establishing governance practices, and embedding data accountability across the software development lifecycle, the scope of this role will later evolve to lead other cross-cutting technical programs across the business. The ideal candidate is an experienced program manager with strong stakeholder management skills and a solid understanding of modern data architectures, engineering practices, and delivery models.

On a typical day you will...

This role's for you if you have...

--------------------------------------

Strong program management and delivery experience, ideally in technical environments Working knowledge of modern data platforms, pipelines, and tools (e.g. Redshift, DBT, Airflow, AWS, SQL) Experience collaborating on architectural and integration decisions involving product and platform systems Understanding of data governance, metadata management, data quality, and regulatory compliance (e.g. GDPR) Proven ability to lead delivery across multiple squads and stakeholder groups Excellent communication, facilitation, and collaboration skills Experience using delivery frameworks and tooling (e.g. Agile, Jira, Confluence) Ability to break down complex initiatives into achievable milestones and guide cross-functional teams toward execution Experience managing risks, tracking dependencies, and ensuring delivery accountability across teams Comfortable with ambiguity and change; able to adapt quickly while maintaining focus on outcomes Experience working across functions to align on policy, tooling, and process

This role isn't for you if.

..

-------------------------------------

You rely on a lot of top-down direction

. Here, you'll have a lot of freedom and ownership of your role, and you'll be expected to shape your own progression

You're not comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

. Our speed and scalability are what set us apart; you need to be able to act quickly and think on your feet

You struggle to follow through on ideas

. We value people who do what they say they will. If you care about something, you have the freedom here to make it happen

You don't like change.

You'll get on great here if you relish the ambiguity of rapid growth and are willing to embrace uncertainty

What's in it for you...
