Technical Operations Manager
to join our
Technical Services
department at The Berkeley.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
As
Technical Operations Manager
you will work closely with the Chief Engineer and assist in the day to day operation of our Technical Services department. You will be an experienced manager with strong leadership skills and demonstrate a high willingness to teach and train the junior members of the team.
Main responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
Take responsibility for the upkeep and coordination of all the Compliance & Legislative Health & Safety documentation for the Hotel within the technical operations manual.
Ensure that all Back & Front of house PPM programs are completed and up to date following the receipt of the PPM schedules from both the Guest Facility Manager & Plant Services Manager.
Review & monitor works by contractors working in the building and confirm that works are supported by a Risk assessment and method statements prior to commencement of works being carried out.
Assist the Chief Engineer with the annual budget planning and execution, as well as further departmental administration and coordination.
Lead a highly motivated team of individuals and ensure regular training is provided, as well as daily briefings and instructions are being given to ensure the team is fully aware of daily tasks, responsibilities and upcoming projects.

Entry Requirements
Desired qualifications/experience for this role include:
IOSH / NEBOSH
Managing L8 Compliance
Management of Water in Evaporative cooling systems
ISRM Pool plant or STA qualification
ONC/ HNC in Engineering certification
WIFM or other Facility Management recognised courses
Electrical Qualification
Mechanical qualifications
Auto Cad
Excel, Word, PowerPoint
