Job Description

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Graduates of BSc Environmental Health with Professional Practice from the University of the West of Scotland or candidates who are due to sit their professional examination for the REHIS Diploma in Environmental Health, or its equivalent, in September 2023.

Based within both the Business Regulation and Public Health teams, you work independently to contribute to the delivery of the Environmental Health service within Glasgow.

Successful candidates will have the opportunity to apply for Environmental Health Officer roles within the Council following the award of a Diploma in Environmental Health.

A Degree in Environmental Health with Professional Practice, flexible approach to working, IT skills and a working knowledge of the role of an Environmental Health Officer within a local authority setting are essential.
