Job Description

Alecto are currently representing an independent building service, maintenance and installation company based in London, who are now looking to appoint an Engineering Manager in a full-time permanent capacity.

Due to securing recent long-term blue-chip contracts and as part of the company\'s organic growth plans, an opportunity has arisen for an Engineering Manager, adding another layer of management to the existing team.

The role:

The Engineering Manager will report to the Head of Operations, with a team of 6 direct reports as well as a wider engineering team including engineers and admin staff.

The successful individual will hold responsibility for the following key duties:

• Responsible for 6 Team Leaders, covering Air Conditioning, Electrical, Mechanical, Heating, & Water Hygiene.
• Attend client meetings & site visits.
• Technical support and advice across the Company.
• Supporting and deputising the Head of Operations.
• Standing in for absenteeism.
• Producing and assisting with quotations & tenders.
• Assisting the Special Works Department.
• Assisting the Service & Maintenance Department.

The candidate:

To be considered or this position, you must be a proven team leader looking to take the next step in your career, or already experienced working as an engineering manager.

Suitable candidate\'s for this role will possess:

• A minimum of 3 year\'s managerial experience
• Detailed technical knowledge and experience of mechanical, electrical and control services in commercial buildings
• Previous customer service experience
• Strong written and verbal communications
• Practical experience in the building services industry.

Package:

• \xc2\xa350,000 - \xc2\xa360,000 per annum salary
• Company Vehicle or allowance
• Hours: 8:00am until 16:30pm
• Permanent position
• Central London - hybrid (Office & Field)
