Job Description

The School of Stage and Screen is seeking a Technical Demonstrator for Virtual Production. This post is part of the Film and TV Technical Team, within the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Sciences technical support structure. The appointed person will be based in the Stockwell Street building\'s media facilities.

The appointed person will support the effective operation of newly purchased Greenscreen, Volume LED and Star Tracker Virtual Production systems. They will play a key role in the management of both the hardware and associated Unreal Engine software for Virtual Production. The post holder will support staff and students in the operation of Virtual Production facilities as well as providing technical support for postproduction editing and grading.

The post is part of delivering a first-class service culture, supporting learning and enhancing the student experience. The post holder will be expected to demonstrate organisational competence, initiative and professionalism in supporting staff and students, and ensuring the optimisation of equipment and facilities whilst working to deadlines.

The successful candidate will hold be Educated to Degree level or demonstrable experiential learning within a relevant technical, educational, management or business discipline.
