We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Technical Assistant to the Executive Committee (ExCo) to support the Chair and senior leadership team in strategic decision-making and operational execution.Role OverviewThe Technical Assistant plays a pivotal role in supporting the Chair of Lookers Limited and the Executive Committee, ensuring smooth operations, strategic oversight, and effective decision-making processes. This role involves co-ordinating the committees activities and cross-company strategic initiatives, and delivering insightful analysis to drive business performance.Key Responsibilities:

  • Executive Committee Management: Organise ExCo processes, including agenda preparation, document collation, quality checks, and publishing. Ensure timely and accurate KPI reporting, action tracking, and follow-ups.
  • Business Analysis & Benchmarking: Conduct competitor analysis, market research, and business performance assessments to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Strategy Implementation Oversight: Monitor and report on cross-company strategic project execution.
  • Communications & Reporting: Develop business updates and management cascade materials for internal communications.
  • Board Meeting Preparation: Support the General Counsel in preparing relevant board meeting documentation.
  • Project Management: Coordinate key initiatives and projects as directed by the Executive Committee.
  • Objectives and Key Results (OKR) Administration: Manage the ExCos objective-setting and measurement process.
Skills & Experience Required:
  • Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and preferably think-cell.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • A structured, proactive, and results-driven mindset.
  • Ability to quickly understand and assimilate new topics.
  • Strong cross-functional communication skills with stakeholders at all levels.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in all deliverables.
  • A degree in a quantitative, analytical discipline or equivalent is desirable.
