Job Description

Technical Analyst required to join the Support Department for a growing, market leading Software Company in Poole.

This role is office based in Poole, whilst training is completed and can then be offered as a hybrid position.

The right candidate will have experience of technical support preferably relating to mission critical software and with an understanding of IT in a business environment and a background in software and hardware solutions.

Excellent communication and telephone skills are essential.

Responsibilities:

• Provide telephone and email support to the customer base involving issue investigation, resolution or escalation.
• Continually develop knowledge of the technical aspects of the system and keep up to date with changing technologies.
• Work with other members of the Support Department to achieve high standards of service and customer satisfaction.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the support call management process.
• Identify underlying causes of recurring incidents.
• Strong in setting customer expectations and ability to handle basic complaints.

Experience & Attributes:

• An understanding of support call management processes.
• Knowledge of technical principles.
• Experience with Linux would be an advantage.
• An understanding of system architecture (hardware, database, applications, desktops and printers) is required.
• Positive, confident, self-motivated, autonomous and reliable.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills and an excellent telephone manner.
• Excellent customer service skills based on a genuine desire to help others.
• Ability to communicate with and respect customers at all levels within a company.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Good attention to detail.

Salary is \xc2\xa325,000 depending on experience.
