We are now looking for Tech Director to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Role

As the Tech Director, you will allow our clients to embrace their technological potential.

Specifically, you will work with external organisations to help them understand their digital capability, whilst identifying and removing barriers that prevent them from providing great technology.

You will assist them in ensuring digital sustainability through digital transformation to improve their ways of working, helping them build the right team, solve strategic issues and break the barriers they face due to technology.

Additionally, you will educate senior executives on the capabilities and benefits of technology and assess our clients\' digital maturity to help them transform their businesses.

About You

To be considered as the Tech Director, you will need:

- Significant experience of shaping and scaling internet-era technology delivery and operations
- Practical experience of public cloud services, and continuous delivery practices
- Experience in exceptional stakeholder management at board or ministerial level
- An understanding of the ongoing challenges of running a complex technology estate over time, and common structural, process, and financial challenges
- The ability to create and sustain an empowering working culture
- The ability to talk with credibility, and influence a range of people
- To be an influential communicator
- An entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable in highly ambiguous environments
- A pragmatic approach to building solid, sustainable and productive working relationships
- To possess drive and passion in owning work from start to finish
- To be financially and commercially literate

Experience leading multiple multi-disciplinary teams producing user-facing digital services along the lines described in the UK government\'s digital service standard would be beneficial to your application. Experience of managing the end of major technology contracts and/ or migrating mission-critical "legacy" applications would also be advantageous.
