- Set standards for your teams, transforming service objectives into clear tasks for individuals and sub-teams to ensure statutory compliance and goal achievement.
- Coordinate and integrate activities across sub-teams, resolving complex issues and anticipating challenges to meet internal and external targets and standards.
- Lead recruitment, supervision, and performance management within your team, motivating and coaching staff to identify training and development needs.
- Control and manage budgets and resources, supporting the provision of effective services and ensuring risk and complexity are well managed.
- Scope and manage projects impacting your service area, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.
- Recommend and implement improvements in procedures and work approaches to enhance performance and efficiency.
- Contribute to service planning and evaluate commercial opportunities, workforce planning, statutory training and more to support service delivery.
- Foster strong relationships and partnerships, both internally and externally, to enable effective collaboration and improved multi-agency service delivery.Experience and Skills Required:- A degree in a relevant subject or equivalent knowledge with appropriate experience in the related service area and professional registration, if applicable.
- Comprehensive knowledge of service area practices, processes, policies, and legislation.
- Experience of managing and developing staff, budgets, and resources.
- Ability to analyse, plan, and deliver complex workstreams and projects while resolving conflicting issues and motivating staff.
