The Role
The role of Team Leader provides coordination of all activity and allocates staff, accordingly, guaranteeing effective and efficient services to Crown's customers, both external and internal; within a safe working environment.
What you will do:
Plan and coordinate the timely completion of Business-as-usual operational activities; ensuring that correct levels of competent and trained manpower resource are available every day.
Consistently achieve team productivity & performance targets and be responsible for reporting matters relating to behavioural/performance of the team to your line manager.
Making sure that all teams are operating within Crown's written performance metrics and in-line with current ISO Quality standards.
Responding to customer enquiries promptly and professionally with satisfactory outcomes.
Implementation of RM ISO Accreditation Procedures and Documentation Competent knowledge of Company Procedures including HR process and target goal setting. Handling customers to a superior level of service delivery.
Ensure that day-to-day service provision is undertaken in accordance with the Records Management Operations Manual as set out for ISO 9001 accreditation.
Respond to daily Customer orders in the appropriate manner (i.e. standard delivery for the following day, emergency 2/4-hour delivery, search and fax etc.).
Where customer orders cannot be met for any reason, this needs to be relayed to the Branch Supervisor and the customer needs to be duly informed.
Customers must be informed of any operational issues that may affect them
Ensure work orders for provision of services to the customers are created accurately and in accordance with ISO9001.
Carry out day-to-day health and safety checks as required and relay any H&S issues to the Branch Supervisor. Maintain the site H&S records as laid down in the H&S manual and where appropriate, carry out risk assessments.
Comply with all company H&S audit (internal and external) requirements.
To ensure weekly fire alarm checks are undertaken. Noting the break glass location tested together with the date and any relevant comments.
Carry out relevant fire drills and organise and record the maintenance and serviceability of fire-fighting equipment, emergency exits and no smoking signs.
Keep the warehouse and yard areas clean at all times and clear any/all obstructions. All in accordance with the site specifications. Advise the Branch Supervisor of any required repairs.
Ensure the daily facility lockdown procedure is monitored & completed according to strict guidelines issued.
Skill and Experience
Essential:
Good verbal communication skills
Work in a fast-paced changing environment
Education & Training in Health & Safety (Risk Assessment awareness)
Good interpersonal skills - able to build and maintain relationships at all levels
Ability to set priorities, manage your time and workload and dependably meet strict deadlines
Ensure tasks are completed within timelines to a high degree of accuracy and professionalism.
Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable:
Knowledge of RSSQL, RSWeb and Health Care Records Management policies would be an advantage.
Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communications skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and display tact and discretion always.
