What\xe2\x80\x99s the Role: Team Leader
What It Takes:
An important part of the staff role is to support people who have complex needs and help them to manage their emotions.
So the ability to be resilient, to communicate effectively and to utilise a variety of communication tools is essential.
Our dedicated staff team help the people we support to learn and develop their independence skills which includes tasks such as shopping, cleaning their flat, personal care, accessing the community, budgeting, taking medication. Each staff member has something to bring to the role and we encourage staff to use their humour and sense of fun and creativity in supporting our service users with day to day life.
Where You Would Work: Kimberley House Supported Living
Kimberley House Supported Living Service is located in Newtownards. It currently supports 9 individuals with learning disability across two sites.
The main KH building consists of 7 single occupancy flats and the property we refer to as \xe2\x80\x98number 80\xe2\x80\x99 is a shared house for 2 of our service users.
An important part of the staff role is to help the people we support who have complex needs to manage their emotions.
So the ability to be resilient, to communicate effectively and to utilise a variety of communication tools is essential.
The role involves shift work and as such flexibility to work a combination of early shifts, late shifts and also weekends is essential. Availability to do x2 sleep over shifts per month is required.

Salary Details:
Team Leader
Full Time Contract available
\xc2\xa324,836 - \xc2\xa328,072 per annum
*Salary based on 39 hours per week. Salary based on qualifications/experience. Where the role requires sleep-ins, a minimum additional payment of \xc2\xa345.00 per night applies*
