Rowsley C of E Primary School is seeking to appoint a dedicated and highly motivated Higher Level Teaching & Learning Assistant who is trained to provide some emotional support to pupils and carry out in-class support,1:1 interventions and some PPA cover duties. This position will be paid at a TA rate unless covering for PPA where it will be paid at a HLTA rate (see above for exact hours). We are looking for someone caring, kind, who is a fantastic role model and enjoys Forest School (alongside a trained practitioner). This position will also require daily lunchtime duties, which are included in the hours above.

You will provide teacher and pupil support to enable pupils to access all areas of the school curriculum and enhance pupil achievement. You will assist in a range of support activities in relation to individuals\' needs, safeguarding, care, health and wellbeing of the pupils to ensure a safe and secure environment and that every child thrives. The ideal candidate will have some emotional training i.e. Positive Play, ELSA or Nurture.
