Job Description

Balloo House Care Home is a 30 bedded residential home located in the heart of Groomsport, Co. Down. We are currently recruiting for team leaders to join our home and are seeking applicants with the following: -

QCF level 3 or above in health and social care, or be willing to work towards level 3 (training is offered)*
At least one years' experience as a team leader or senior carer, we welcome applications from different sectors with manager or team leading experience.*
NISCC registered (or be willing to re-register)*
Basic ICT skills.*
Demonstrates effective strong leadership skills.*
Medication administration trained.*
Approachable and demonstrates a strong teamwork ethic.*
Ability to delegate tasks, floor manage a team of carers and oversee day to day running of the home.*
Effectively converse with community professionals on behalf of our residents.*
Manage day to day care of residents including nutrition, activities and personal care.*
Trained in first aid and manual handling, safeguarding and fire awareness.*
Shows enthusiasm and confidence in their role.*
Key work and manage residents care, demonstrating effective person-centred practise.*
Support and motivate staff, people person and can build relationships with families and professionals.*

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From 12.45 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 42 per week
