CAY students have diverse backgrounds and abilities, including those with autism, anxiety and other SEND. The role requires excellent communication skills, and flexibility in approach to learning and to engage students.
Primary Duties:
Assist teachers in preparing and delivering instructional materials and lessons.
Provide individualised support to students to enhance their learning experience.
Facilitate classroom activities and manage student behaviour to maintain an effective learning environment.
Collaborate with teachers and practitioners to assess student progress and adapt learning strategies accordingly.
Aid in the organisation of educational events, such as community activities and off-site learning.
Perform administrative tasks, including recording logs, filling in any safeguarding reports and supporting the emotional well-being of a student.
Other tasks as required to deliver the college's aims.
Accompany students offsite as required.
