Role Requirements and Key Skills

As an aspiring Teaching Assistant, you should possess:

• Experience working as a TA/LSA in UK or overseas schools
• Relevant qualifications in childcare, safeguarding, Teaching Assistant roles
• Experience in caring roles, either for adults or children
• Bachelor\'s/Master\'s degree in English, Maths, Science, PE, Art, History, or related fields
• Background in youth work or law enforcement
• A proactive approach to adapting to a range of duties and changing circumstances

Your Daily Responsibilities:

• Ensuring focused attention and task completion by students you support
• Exhibiting a positive approach to managing student behaviour
• Strictly adhering to the school\'s behaviour management policies
• Providing specialized support to children with additional needs within a mainstream Secondary School setting
• Collaboratively working with the Head of Department or class teachers, following their instructions and set work closely
• Providing 1-1 assistance and overall support to class teachers
