King\xe2\x80\x99s Lodge School is a great place to work. We are a fully inclusive school and pride ourselves on the work we do here. We are currently looking to appoint a teaching assistant who is looking to further develop their skills. The role will be varied, working with children who need support to access learning, supporting children to aim high, ensuring that children can access all areas of the curriculum. There will be challenges and there will be laughs along the way. Schools are incredibly rewarding places to work where no hour is the same as the previous one let alone no two days being the same. This role will involve working with children in our school who can sometimes find it difficult to understand how to learn and how to regulate their emotions. We want each one of them to be successful.

We are looking for the right person for the role and therefore qualifications and experience are definitely taken into consideration but they are only a part of the appointment process. Applicants reading and writing and spoken language must be of a good standard as this forms the basis of all we are promoting with the children. No other part time role will be this varied \xe2\x80\x93 take on a new challenge if you are seeking a move away from the mundane!

Hours of work: 22.50 hours per week \xe2\x80\x93 TA, 5 hours per week - MDSA

Contract type: Permanent
