Full time Teacher of Sciences Ancora House School and its Governors wish to recruit an outstanding Teacher of Sciences to join our dedicated and experienced team. The successful candidate will be able to adapt their skills flexibly and creatively to meet the needs of our learners with empathy and sensitivity. Our young people are experiencing significant mental health problems and so teaching and learning takes place in very small groups or on a one to one basis. Trauma informed practice underpins the work of the school; person centred approaches and positive relationship building enables our learners to re-connect with their education and to make good progress despite their difficulties. Our curriculum is built around individual needs, some learners will be accessing learning at a high level, whilst others will need activities to re-engage them with learning.
