We are seeking to appoint, from September 2025, a suitably qualified, dynamic, and inspirational teacher with the ability to teach Science to Key Stage 3, 4 and 5, including both GCSE and A Level. The ideal candidate would also have the ability to teach an additional subject at Key Stage 3 and 4.


Energy, commitment and a willingness to take a full and active part in the broader life of this busy School are essential. A passion for education and enriching the learning process of our learners is required to fully immerse you into our School community.

Rishworth School is a mixed, non-denominational, all-through independent day and boarding school situated in Rishworth, West Yorkshire. The school has a Christian ethos but welcomes students from all faiths. There are approximately 450 pupils at Rishworth, between the ages of 3-19.



Rishworth School was established in 1724 by John Wheelwright in a small building, now used as the school's chapel. The junior school, Heathfield opened in 1951. The school is set around 130 acres of parkland. It is a founder member of the Society of Headmasters for Independent Schools (SHMIS). Rishworth and Heathfield both offer an extensive range of learning facilities and share a swimming pool, performing arts centre and playing fields.
