Grace College are looking to recruit a Teacher of Music who is passionate about the value of music and the arts in education. A teacher who will enthuse pupils to learn with a combination of great subject knowledge, musical skill, creative energy and dedication. To facilitate career development in the arts we offer Music, Drama, Art and Graphics A Level in our Associated Sixth Form based at Emmanuel College. • Develop schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives
• Facilitate learning by establishing effective relationships with pupils
• Maintain organised learning resources, using your extensive music skills
• Create a positive, creative learning environment in the classroom
• Fully immerse yourself in the varied co-curricular and events programme at the college
• Develop and foster the appropriate skills and social abilities to enable the optimum development of children
• Assess and record progress and prepare pupils for national tests
• Link pupils' knowledge to earlier learning and develop ways to encourage it further, challenging and inspiring pupils to help them deepen their knowledge and understanding
