The Role


We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic ICT Teacher to join a dedicated department from September 2025. You will deliver high-quality teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to contribute to Key Stage 5 as the department grows. Knowledge and experience of teaching Business Studies would be an advantage.

You will have a genuine passion for your subject, inspire and engage young people, and maintain high expectations for all learners. Whether you are an experienced teacher or an ambitious ECT, we welcome your application.

Responsibilities



Plan, deliver, and assess engaging ICT lessons in line with national curriculum requirements. Foster a positive learning environment that encourages creativity, independence, and resilience. Monitor and report on student progress, providing timely and effective interventions where necessary. Work collaboratively with colleagues within the ICT and Business faculty and across the wider school community. Contribute to curriculum development, extracurricular activities, and whole-school initiatives. Uphold the school's ethos, values, and policies consistently.

Person Specification



Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. A degree in ICT, Computer Science, or a related field. Strong subject knowledge across ICT curricula; ability to teach Business Studies is highly desirable. A commitment to high expectations, both of yourself and of students. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills. A reflective practitioner committed to continual professional development. Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
