Teacher of Computing Responsibilities:

  • Teaching, designing, and developing a comprehensive Health and Social Care curriculum for Key Stage 4 and 5, as well as Food and Textiles for students in years 7 and 8.
  • Developing and implementing an enriched curriculum that promotes active learning and critical thinking.
  • To deliver effective teaching, learning and assessment to students to ensure that they make good progress.
  • Assessing student progress: Regularly assess students\' understanding and progress through assignments, projects, quizzes, and examinations.
  • Recognize and address the unique learning needs of students by providing individualized support and guidance.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and respect.
Teacher of computing Requirements:
  • Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Ability to ensure that the students are taught with a depth of understanding to enable them to make considerable progress over time.
  • Capacity to educate throughout the age and ability range.
  • Have the capability to foster curiosity and interest for the subject.
  • Be committed to child protection, safeguarding and pupil welfare.
  • Hold a Child Only DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one with GSL Education.
