We are seeking a passionate and dedicated French and Spanish Teacher to join our Lingotot Teesside teaching team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating an engaging learning environment that fosters pupils interest in French and Spanish languages and culture. This role requires a commitment to academic excellence and the ability to inspire students to achieve their language learning goals. It is a part time role involving working within schools teaching French and Spanish as part of the curriculum, and also running some French and Spanish after school clubs.
Responsibilities
Teaching Spanish across a broad range of children aged 3 - 11 years old.
Create a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages pupil participation and collaboration.
Assess pupil progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
Incorporate cultural elements into lessons to enhance students' understanding of the Spanish-speaking world.
Maintain classroom discipline while promoting respect and inclusivity among students.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and share best practices.
Skills
Proficiency in French and Spanish languages, both written and spoken.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage students effectively.
Excellent organisational skills to manage lesson plans, assessments, and classroom activities (all provided).
Patience and adaptability to cater to diverse student needs and learning paces.
A passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a love for languages in students.
A valid driving licence and vehicle are desirable
Must already live locally in Teesside and have a visa to work in the UK
Note: this is an in person teaching role and not online and we are not an agency
Previous teaching experience or relevant qualifications in education is essential

Be available to teach after school clubs for several days of the week (not all)
