We offer both
A Level English Language
and
A Level English Literature
in the Sixth Form, and this year alone our department has prepared students to study Linguistics at Cambridge, English Language and Literature at Exeter and creative writing at Warwick.
The ability to teach Key Stages 3 & 4 is essential; the ability to teach A level would be an advantage.
The successful candidate should:

Contribute to secure the highest standards of pupil achievement, monitoring, tracking, supporting, and evaluating pupil achievement. Setting targets for improvement and implementing effective strategies for under-performing students.
