About the role:
We are looking to recruit an experienced teacher of A level Biology (Part time/ permanent at 0.8, contract over 4 days) within our Science Department. The role itself will include planning the programme of delivery, creating resources and monitoring student performance.

About you:
The successful candidate will have had experience of delivering A level Biology with a good track record of success. Evidence of the ability to plan and deliver such a programme will be essential. All part time teaching staff may also be involved in the tutorial programme so experience of supporting and guiding students throughout their studies and to assist them to progress towards HE or apprenticeships is desirable.

Our Sixth Form centre located on our Angel Campus offers over 30 A Level subjects to our students, one of the largest choices in the UK, providing high level academic study for around 1,800 students wishing to progress to university.

About the Sixth Form College:
The Sixth Form College at Angel Islington is a major and popular London sixth form college, offering a huge range of A Level subjects to approximately 2000 students a year from across the city. The SFC offers around 40 A Level subjects, one of the largest choices in the UK, with specialist facilities such as a performing arts studio, fashion and textiles workshops, electronics and science classrooms and music recording studios.
