One Sixth Form - Ipswich 0.6 FTE - Maternity Cover Commencing September 2025 Salary: MPR/UPR
We are looking for a well-qualified and inspiring Beauty Therapy teacher to join our Ofsted Outstanding college. This is an opportunity to become an integral part of a supportive and high-performing team, contributing to the development and improvement of curriculum plans and resources, with a focus on student learning, achievement, and progression. The successful candidate will be a qualified Beauty Therapist with industry experience and a relevant teaching qualification, or a willingness to work towards one. A passion for education and a commitment to student success are essential, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills that foster an engaging and supportive learning environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong planning and time management skills, with the ability to engage and challenge both students and colleagues. Effective communication with students, parents, and staff is crucial, and you should have a proven track record of delivering strong results and positive student outcomes. In this role, you will deliver engaging lessons covering facial skincare techniques, manicures, pedicures, and waxing treatments. You will guide students in performing treatments on real clients in our salon, helping them develop practical skills and confidence. Your industry knowledge and expertise will be invaluable in teaching key areas such as health and safety, client care, communication, reception duties, and product promotion. Additionally, you will support students in understanding the science behind beauty therapy and provide enrichment activities to enhance their learning and career progression.
