Job Description

We are recruiting for a Teacher in Economics, with a demonstrable record of outstanding student achievement and a commitment to driving forward the provision to ensure student success.

As an ambitious Lecturer, you will work closely within the A-Levels Division to ensure that students are actively engaged in all aspects of the delivery of AS/A-Level Economics and you will also work within the Division and liaise with cross-College areas to enhance the student experience and provide the widest range of opportunities to our students.

As a Lecturer you will teach, relevant to subject specialism, up to 832 hours per year.

With a degree level qualification in Economics or a related subject/discipline, and a PGCE or Certificate in Education, you will possess detailed knowledge of current AS/A-Level and/or Higher Education Economics specifications and of knowledge of current issues in Further Education and/or Higher Education relating to the curriculum area. You will also have the experience of teaching and the ability to display excellent teaching skills in the delivery of Economics at A-Level or Higher Education.

The salary for this post is \xc2\xa330,016 - \xc2\xa335,819.
