Description:Required from September 2025The Governors of this oversubscribed and forward-looking school are seeking to appoint an excellent and adaptable teacher to work in a range of different areas from September 2025. The successful applicant will have the skills and experience to deliver a range of subjects and wider enrichment opportunities mainly linked to expressive arts to pupils of all ages.Expectations of the post-holder include:

  • The skills and experience to be able to deliver a wide range of traditional and vocational subjects. The nature of these subjects could vary annually and depend on the needs of the curriculum and timetable.
  • The skills and experience to be able to deliver and support with deficits in literacy, numeracy and wider skills.
  • The skills and experience to be able to develop our curricular and extra-curricular expressive arts provision. Whilst extra-curricular expressive arts provision would be a focus for year one (e.g. establishing clubs such as Drama/Dance clubs), from the second year, the post-holder will deliver external qualifications in expressive arts disciplines e.g. GCSE Drama.
  • The skills and experience to be able to work with existing staff in order to put on school performances/drama productions.
