As a Tax manager, you will provide the Allianz UK Group with tax expertise specific to the needs of the business and be responsible for providing comprehensive and highly skilled tax compliance, reporting, advisory and tax risk management services.
Salary Information
Location: Guildford
Pay: Circa 75K per year.
Pay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package.
About You
Manage tax compliance processes to ensure that all statutory requirements and deadlines are met, including proactively managing any tax audits that arise.
Advise on tax matters.
Implement and maintains best practice in respect of tax risk management.
Consider and implement tax planning initiatives in line with the Group's commercial needs and strategy to mitigate tax exposures where possible.
Play an active part in product and business planning by maintaining a close relationship with the relevant internal stakeholders.
Maintains awareness of, and advises the business on, changes in tax law and practice including assisting with the implementation of system changes required.
Maintains the high profile of the tax team within the wider Allianz Group.
Essential Skills
Fully qualified ACCA/ACA/CTA preferred.
Proven experience of a wide range of UK tax matters, working within large multinational enterprises, preferably within the financial services industry
IT literate including excellent Word and Excel skills.
Technically competent, maintaining business focus.
Competent problem resolution, troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Attention to detail whilst maintaining the ability to see the big picture.
The ability to interpret and clearly explain tax technical issues and conduct and interpret research.

Familiarity with SAP / One Source / Alpha Tax
