Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of food production and kitchen operations.
Develop and implement innovative menu items that reflect current culinary trends.
Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene are maintained.
Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control to minimise waste.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen.
Assist in budgeting and cost control measures to optimise profitability.
Experience
Proven experience as a Chef in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Strong culinary skills with knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in team management.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Passion for food and hospitality, with a commitment to continuous improvement in culinary practices.
Experience in supervising food production processes is highly desirable.
