Looking for an awesome TA Assistant!

Our client is the law enforcement agency with territorial responsibility which covers the five unitary authority areas situated in Southwest England, encompassing Bristol, Bath and Northeast Somerset, North Somerset, Somerset, and South Gloucestershire.

As part of their team, you\'ll be responsible for conducting recruitment, selection, and advancement procedures with the goal of minimizing vacancies.

Required:

  • Background in HR, Recruitment, or administrative positions.
  • Demonstrated skill in adept communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Exceptional precision and meticulousness, supported by a track record of maintaining and overseeing precise data.
  • Proficiency in adhering to deadlines and handling concurrent priorities.
  • Established capability to manage workloads with minimal guidance.
  • Experience in delivering service with a customer-centric approach.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Comprehends equality, diversity, and rights in alignment with legislation, policies, and practices.
  • Should ideally have a valid driver\'s license or be able to get around the area utilizing other means of transportation.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide professional talent acquisition and succession service for workforce strategies.
  • Manage recruitment, selection, and promotion processes proactively to reduce vacancies.
  • Offer guidance to applicants and stakeholders, coordinating effective recruitment procedures.
  • Collaborate with recruiting managers to independently plan and execute processes.
  • Oversee day-to-day recruitment from request to onboarding.
  • Work with Directorates to enhance candidates\' onboarding experience.
  • Maintain up-to-date databases for informed decisions.
  • Address issues promptly and propose solutions when necessary.
  • Liaise with internal/external entities on recruitment matters.
  • Verify employment histories and advise on terms and conditions.
  • Engage with communities through career events and workshops.
  • Compile occasional statistical data.
  • Fulfil diverse HR tasks for business continuity.
