A newly created Systems & Website Developer opportunity has arisen at a progressive media and events business where you will be responsible for providing support to teams using various digital and media programmes, products, and processes, as well as supporting ongoing development by providing recommendations and analysis on new functionality and improvements. You will be involved in the troubleshooting of technical issues both for internal and external user experiences of digital products such as websites; producing user training, and producing reporting and analysis to track usage. Your role will also see you configuring and delivering clients\' digital advertising products, supporting any changes on the WordPress platform, and supporting the SEO strategy for websites.

Your exciting new Systems & Website Developer role will involve:

• Providing 1st, 2nd, 3rd line support to internal teams - resolving issues and change requests
• Creating, supporting and maintaining new and existing WordPress websites, plugins, caching systems and server architecture
• Tracking user behaviour and producing reports to assist with continuous improvements to functionality
• Maintaining and ensuring system compliance with GDPR and other relevant legislation
• Optimising the performance of the web server and database
• Understanding and delivering on the digital needs of internal stakeholders such as Marketing, Content and Events teams
• Suggesting and making continuous improvements to websites and their functionality to ensure UX / UI optimisation internally and externally
• Taking ownership of the integrations between websites, CRM and other programmes
• Ensuring the regular upgrading and deployment of new packages
• Assisting in the configuration, testing and roll-out of new websites and functionality
• Using digital tools to support the measurement and performance analysis of digital marketing activities, including reporting on web traffic

I am interested in speaking with candidates who have experience working in a digital / media systems related capacity such as a Systems & Website Developer, Website Developer, or Systems Developer, Support Analyst within the media, events, or marketing sector. Also important is a solid understanding of WordPress, SEO, CMS, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Photoshop, Dreamweaver Social Media, HTML/CSS, email marketing, content marketing and web server management.

Salary for this role is \xc2\xa328,000 to \xc2\xa330,000 p.a. (depending on level of experience).
